    Albany Light Opera and Theatre Company (ALOTCo) is producing its 5th Let’s Shine show.

    This series are inviting people living with a disability and ALOTCo existing and new members to perform an integrated variety show with singing, dancing and skits.

    This year’s production Let’s Shine Brightly is 2 performances (31st Nov & 1st Dec) which kicks off Disability Awareness Week.

    10 December 2019 - in support of the 16 days of Activism - we invite everyone to come along to the Walgu (Welcome) Park in Karratha to join in a silent candlelight vigil.

    Following the vigil and 1 minute's silence to remember those families who have suffered in silence, Kim and Paul will share their inspirational story.

  • Blue Tree Project comes to the South West, Rosabrook

    The Blue Tree Project involves painting a dead tree Blue to raise awareness and inspire people to discuss that feeling blue is ok...

    Getting help is important.

    Mental Health Awareness and Suicide Prevention are prime objectives of the Blue Tree Project.

    Thanks to a local family we have a beautiful tree on a Farming Property to paint blue. Our local hardware has donated the paint. Our local tradehire has donated the use of a cherry picker.

    Locals are coming to help us paint the tree.

    I hope this is the first of many. This project is very dear to my heart as I lost my on mum to suicide 17/12/17

  • Busselton Half Marathon and Fun Run, Vasse

    Saturday, 8 February
    This event comprises a half marathon (21.1km), 10km run and 5km fun run/walk.

    Our event is unique in that it follows the calm waters of Geographe Bay with a return leg that has full views of and highlights the iconic Busselton Jetty.

    The Event Ambassador is Brant Garvey, who is an Australian leg amputee paratriathlete.

    Brant represented Australia at the 2016 Rio Paralympics when paratriathlon made its debut at the Paralympics. Brant will be participating in the event and will also be a guest speaker at a special buffet dinner on the evening of the event.

    Registrations open 1 October 2019 for both the event and dinner.
