  • WA State Country Water Polo Championships, West Busselton

    Friday, 1 March
The Busselton Water Polo Association is hosting the 2019 State Country Waterpolo Championships at the Geographe Leisure Centre.

After the success of the 2014 W.A. Country Water Polo Championships, we are honoured to be approved by the Western Australian Water polo Association to host this event in 2019 in our own home town, Busselton.

The event will be held over 3 days during the long weekend in March drawing in up to 13 competitors per team for both men and women and many spectators coming from regional centres across WA including Port Hedland, Geraldton, Bunbury, Mandurah, Karratha and Albany.

This is the fifth year that Busselton has hosted this annual event being held at the Geographe Leisure Centre. We are planning a special King Shoot competition prior to the finals to profile some of the hottest shots in the game.

The presentation of the prize for this will be an opportunity to recognise the community support for the event in general. We hope this will promote waterpolo and encourage new players as well as increase spectator participation and enjoyment.

Fully supported by Busselton Water Polo Association and its few voluntary committee members. Our Association is a non-profit organisation, run by volunteers, players and parents.
